As a member of the Shuswap Writers’ Group, you have the opportunity to read the piece(s) you have written on Voice of the Shuswap (VOS) radio.
 
*Aired each month on the second Sunday at 12 noon, Tues. 9 am and Thurs. 4 pm*
 


1. E-mail your piece(s) to one of our executive members listed below for review:
 Ellie McGaughey ([email protected]) 
Brenda Kilberg ([email protected])
Dorothy Rolin ([email protected]) 

*The ideal time frame to read your material is no more than 10 minutes per piece.
*Content: it’s important to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment by avoiding contents related to politics, religion, and negative references to ethnic groups.
 

2. Record your piece(s) with one of  the following options:

 Option 1
Contact station manager Jeanette Clements at [email protected].
 She will set up an appointment for you to come in to the station to record.
                                                                       
Option 2
Contact Ellie McGaughey ( [email protected]) to set up an appointment to record at her and Mitch's home. Your piece(s) will then be edited and forwarded on to VOS.
                                                                      
Option 3
For those of you who may not be comfortable being in a recording studio but would like to have your work heard on the radio, you may email your piece(s) to Ellie McGaughey. She and Mitch will record it on your behalf, and then forward the completed work on to VOS.
