The Shuswap Writers' Group is a friendly bunch of writers, readers, and storytellers who regularly take it upon themselves to share a wealth of creativity, camaraderie, and calculated (but often comedic) chaos with one another and the outside world!
Our Regular Meeting Times- 2020

We meet at the Piccadilly Mall in the broad room every 1st and 3rd Wed. of the month. We take an hiatus in the summer.
Carolyn Parks Mintz is our guest author. She is a freelance journalist and public speaker and twice nominated as a Women of Distinction.

Bring family and friends all are welcome. The Bistro has coffee, beverages and goodies available.
A great way to while away your Friday afternoon and be entertained. Or entertain us with your own story, poem or if you play a musical instrument or song. If we have a guest an open mic will be available after to others wishing to read.
Readings start at 2:00pm continuing until 4:00pm If you are reading write your name down on the sign-up sheet when you first arrive.
If reading from your novel, remember to chose snippets from various chapters in order to tantalize the audience, keeping the entire reading to under 7 minutes.
